Let the breeze billow the curtains,
Let the light and warmth favour us,
Let the joy tickle our bare skin.
We may doubt this glorious constant,
But nature’s life cycle, renewing possibilities, revisiting brief serenity,
Repeats until we are no more. Then repeats again.

A lovely Quadrille to breeze light and joy into my dull, rainy Tuesday morning.
Thank you, Kim. With a record warm day yesterday in Vancouver, the happy image of billowing curtains was on my mind :))
Oh gosh this is beautifully deep and profound!💜💜💜
Thank you so much, Sanaa, for your kind comment!
love how the light breezy beginning then struggles with glorious constant. only a struggle until you realize the cycle continues without us. beautiful write.
Thank you for your very thoughtful comment, Eric. I’ve been thinking about the seasons and the seasons of life.
You are so right. All the healing energy our spirits need can be found in moving air and sun.
Thank you for your comment, Strawberry Abbey :))
I like the last line suggesting the end to the repeating and then repeating again.
Thank you, Frank. I liked the meaning of the repeat and the cadence :))

But nature’s life cycle,
Repeats until we are no more.
It is but a game, only the players keep changing!

I adore that repeat and repeat until we are no more ~ Love your first 3 opening lines, so positvely affirming ~
Thank you for your generous comments, Grace. It was a bright sunny day in Vancouver on Monday. I just had to work the warmth and lovely breeze into the quadrille!
Beautiful, a reminder the world is bigger than us.
Thank you so much, Sarah Ann! It may be the ‘pale blue dot’ in space, but yes so much more than any one of us.
I went for a long walk in the woods today… such a renewal… there is nothing better.
I agree, Björn. Nature reminds us of what is important and about our place in the cycle. Thank you for stopping by!
